Joyce’s Choices was founded by Joyce Rhee in March 2021 with a clear mission: to offer high-quality refurbished couches that stay out of landfills and don’t break the bank for customers. What started from a garage has proudly grown into a full-scale operation with a dedicated warehouse, allowing Joyce to expand her team and bring beautiful, sustainable furniture into more homes across Southern California.
As an Asian, woman-owned business, Joyce built Joyce’s Choices through relentless hard work, personalized service, and a deep commitment to quality. From sourcing and refurbishing to helping customers find the perfect piece, her hands-on dedication has earned her a strong reputation for exceptional customer care. Through organic growth on Instagram and a trusted presence on Facebook Marketplace, Joyce’s Choices has become a go-to source for beautiful, affordable couches that customers can count on.
Today, Joyce leads the business with the same heart and commitment that started it all: sustainability, integrity, and personalized service.
SUSTAINABILITY
In 2023, Joyce's Choices took the mission even further by partnering with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit organization dedicated to global reforestation efforts.
One Tree Planted collaborates with a wide network of partners and is trusted by some of the world’s biggest brands to plant trees in regions that need it most, helping to restore forests, create habitats for biodiversity, and support sustainable communities.
For every furniture you purchase with Joyce's Choices, we will plant ten trees in California through One Tree Planted.
As of July 2024, thanks to our amazing customers and this meaningful collaboration, we have planted 800 trees and will continue growing, giving back, and saving the planet, one section(al) at a time.
